• Arizona Contribution Limits - individuals are limited to $296 ($390 after 9/19/07) per person per candidate per election cycle (2 year period). Therefore, a married couple may contribute a total of $592 ($680 after 9/19/07). This includes monetary and non-monetary (in-kind) contributions.
• Checks for more than $296 ($390 after 9/19/07) must be drawn on a joint account and be signed by both account owners.
• Contributions are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal tax purposes.
• By federal law, only U.S. citizens or those lawfully admitted for permanent residence may contribute (foreign nationals may not contribute).
• State law requires political committees to report the name, home mailing address, occupation and employer for each contributor.
• Contributions by corporate check or corporate credit card are prohibited.
